Robinhood Partners with Kalshi to Launch NFL and College Football Prediction Markets

Robinhood (HOOD) has teamed up with Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated blockchain-based prediction market, to introduce trading on NFL and college football game outcomes. The feature will be accessible via Robinhood's Prediction Markets Hub across the U.S., offering an alternative to traditional sports betting platforms.

Unlike conventional sportsbooks, Kalshi's exchange treats these trades as commodities, leveraging financial market structures for price discovery. This MOVE positions Robinhood against established players like DraftKings and Flutter Entertainment's FanDuel.

The initiative reflects Robinhood's growing interest in prediction markets, following its March announcement signaling entry into the space. By integrating regulated event contracts, the platform bridges decentralized finance with mainstream speculative markets.
